In less than 1,000 days since the formation of our beautiful partnership, the UNPP is successfully Connecting People to Plants and Plants to Projects!
Thanks to grant funding, UNPP provided educational and economic opportunities for new local producers to develop native plant materials in 2024, and now those plants will be provided at no cost to local ecological restoration projects in the Umpqua watershed!
Two of these projects are community-based and will need volunteers to plant pollinator shrubs and trees at Pass Creek in The City of Drain and Ford's Pond Community Park in The City of Sutherlin. This is a great way to get together with friends and family and give back to your local community during the holiday season!
Now it is up to you our UNPP volunteers to answer the call to action and RSVP for one or both planting events in December. See the flyer and RSVP info below. Thank you for all you do to advance our shared mission of growing a robust native plant material economy for the ecological restoration of our diverse ecosystems in the Umpqua Basin!
